| New Zealand operation makes a strong start |

The NSC New Zealand operation is going from strength to strength with offices in Wellington and Auckland, ten staff and more than 20 customers. The company’s initial focus is around two key business practices – the Unified Communications and Contact Centre (UC+CC) Practice and the Business Systems Practice.

Oracle confirms strong commitment to Sun technology and customers |

Weary of the lengthy legislative delays in finalising the Oracle purchase of Sun Microsystems, Oracle recently kicked off an aggressive campaign to communicate its public commitment to Sun technology and customers with a front page ad in the prestigious Wall Street Journal (pictured).

On September 14, Avaya announced it was selected to acquire Nortel Enterprise Solutions for US $900 million in proceeds to Nortel and an additional pool of $15 million reserved for an employee retention program.

| Acciona delivers green energy with help from NSC |
|
Acciona Energy is a world leader in the renewable energy sector. The Spanish company’s mission is to demonstrate the technical and economic viability of a sustainable energy model. Acciona’s flagship Australian project is the Waubra Wind Farm, a facility located 35km north of the Victorian town of Ballarat. Commissioned in June 2009, the Waubra facility comprises 128 wind turbines collectively capable of generating 92 megawatts of power, a quantity that can meet the needs of more than 140,000 homes while saving approximately 650,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.

| Your customers are talking to you, But are you listening? |
|
All too often, internal service quality perceptions can differ greatly from actual customer perceptions. Bain & Company, a global business consulting firm, asked more than 300 companies if they believed they were delivering a “superior experience” to their customers. Eighty percent of the surveyed companies said they were. The firm then solicited feedback from the customers. Only eight percent of customers surveyed felt they were, indeed, getting a “superior experience.” Why the disconnect?
